Closer Care monthly info session – March 2022

Closer Care has introduced monthly info sessions starting March 2022 where we share our updates, vision, and changes with all members of our community, so that you are aware of all that is happening with Closer Care.

 

Support worker emotional and mental wellbeing 

The health and safety of everyone at Closer Care is important to us, we are available to talk to our support team during business hours and our on call is available at all hours of the day. Our management team invite support workers to contact Closer Care in an event of an emergency or to debrief after shifts. There is also 24-hour emergency support in the event of incidents on shift, you will be able to access this upon completion of the incident report. 

Growing support workers in your community

Closer Care is dedicated to expanding our team of community support workers who provide flexible care in a timely manner, in the last couple of months we have doubled our support team to better care for you in the community. 

Person-centred supports: What does this mean to you?

Each participant accesses supports that promote, uphold, and respect their rights and is enabled to exercise informed choice and control. Support provision promotes, upholds, and respects freedom of expression, self-determination, and decision-making.

Having a say in the way you are supported, is empowering, exuberates self-awareness and confidence. 

Our services are flexible and adaptable, which means that our support workers tailor-make their services to the specific and unique needs of the individual. We promote curiosity in our staff to really get to know their clients in a one-to-one setting, it is through this that we can build social connections and exceed their expectations.
